In the first of an epic two-part discussion; Jason and Jolene take on the timely topic of gender roles and equality. Because there can't be true harmony between men and women unless they are willing to work together. So call this Part 1 of the Tango of the Genders!

Jason and Jolene love to learn, and they aren't talking about sitting down in a classroom and taking notes while being lectured to. No, your co-hosts are students of life and the various ways of taking in new information. Books, YouTube, talking to friends and colleagues... you name it, there's an opportunity to learn. On this episode they discuss the benefits that come with being a lifelong learner, and how doing so is good for your mind and mental health.

Jason issued a challenge to Jolene few weeks back on the show's Instagram page, and that challenge was to take part in a digital sabbath. What is a digital sabbath? No phone, social media, streaming or computer -- anything digital really -- for a full 24 hours. How did it go for Jason? Has Jolene taken him up on the challenge? We've all been rejected at some point, be it romantically or by a friend, for a job, or when we're young and trying out for a place on a team. And no matter how many times we're rejected, it never gets easier. Our difficulty with rejection stems from untreated childhood trauma, and is often piggybacked with fears of abandonment. Jason and Jolene share their rejection stories and fears, and the thought that being rejected says less about you, and more about the person doing the rejecting.

And how does social media, and media in general, make you feel about yourself? Jason and Jolene have a lot to say about satisfaction on this, the first of a two-part episode on the subject.

It's Valentine's Day! That most romantic of days when people express their true, undying love for each other. But should such displays of affection be limited to just one day? And what harm can be caused by putting so much pressure on someone to be romantic on such a day as this? Of course, Jason and Jolene have more than a few thoughts on the subject...

We've all felt it; the little pang that makes us yearn for the good ole' days. Or the feeling that takes us back to the glory days of high school (if they were glorious, that is). Whether or not we want to admit it, we all get a little nostalgic at times. And that's A-OK. On today's episode, Jason and Jolene discuss their experiences with nostalgia, how it can be a way to heal your inner child, and the danger of becoming trapped in it.
